Dear Windebank Families,

I hope this message finds you well and enjoying the start to a restful summer break. As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we are excited to share some wonderful news regarding school supplies for your children.

Thanks to the provincial Student and Family Affordability Fund (SAFA), our school will be providing a comprehensive package of school supplies at a significantly subsidized rate of $35.00 per student. This initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden on families and ensure that all students have the necessary materials to start the school year successfully.

The subsidized school supply package will include essential items such as notebooks, pencils, pens, erasers, glue sticks, rulers, and other grade-appropriate supplies. By offering these items at a reduced cost, we hope to create an equitable learning environment where every student is well-equipped to thrive academically.

In August, families will be charged $35.00 per student to their school cash accounts. If you have any questions or need assistance with the payment process, please do not hesitate to contact the school office during the last week of August. We are here to help and ensure that every child has what they need for a successful start to the school year.

We appreciate your continued support and partnership in your child's education. Together, we can make this school year a positive and enriching experience for all students.

Hello Windebank Families,​

Moving over the Summer?
If you are planning on moving over the summer and have not yet advised the office. Please email Ms. Stefanek at teresa.stefanek@mpsd.ca to advise the name of the town you will be moving to and the school your child(ren) will be attending.
 
Lost & Found
Please come and check the lost & found. Any items remaining will be donated on Tuesday, July 2nd in the morning.

Office Hours – June 28 – July 5/24
The office will be open from 9am-2:30pm Friday, June 28, Tuesday, July 2 – Friday, July 5. We will then be closed for the summer and reopen on Monday, August 26th.

From the PAC

Thank you all for your support in making the Grade 6 graduation a wonderful event for our students. Your donations and volunteer efforts helped provide a wonderful farewell dinner and made the night memorable. 

To all the volunteers this year, we greatly appreciate your dedication to our school community and look forward to continuing to work together in the fall! A huge thank you to all the families for supporting our fundraisers and events to make the school year an amazing, fun filled one, for the kids.
